History
PT. Industri Pembungkus Internasional was established in 1972, which is engaged in the Corrugated Box manufacturing industry and is the first carton box company in North Sumatra and the third in Indonesia.
With continuous development for more than 50 years, as well as support and trust from customers, PT. Industri Pembungkus Internasional not only focuses on sales quantity but also on quality, creativity and flexibility. As proof of its commitment to better quality and service, in 1997 PT. Industri Pembungkus Internasional obtained the ISO 9002 Certificate (Quality Management System) which was the first carton box company in North Sumatra to be certified. In 2000 the certification was upgraded to ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) which was certified by the SGS Certification Organization.
Over time and to meet customer needs, PT. Industri Pembungkus Internasional added to its business fields by producing Folding Cartons in 2000 and Food Packaging (Foodpack) in 2018. So that the focus of PT. Industri Pembungkus Internasional increased regarding Food Safety. As proof of the company’s commitment to producing products that meet food safety standards, in 2024 PT. Industri Pembungkus Internasional for the Folding Carton and Foodpack business sector obtained the FSSC 22000 Certificate certified by the SGS Certification Body and SNI ISO 9001 & SNI 8218 Paper and Cardboard for Food Packaging (Ivory 210 gsm and 250 gsm) certified by the Product Certification Institute of the Center for Standardization and Cellulose Industry Services.
In addition, PT. Industri Pembungkus Internasional also obtained the Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody (FSC CoC) Certificate for Corrugated Boxes, Folding Cartons and Foodpacks as a form of the company’s support for environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable forest management.
